Indy 500 Bump Day

We took Will to the track for his first race experience.
He actually seemed to like it (I was a little worried).

Eating Machine

Katelyn is our eating machine, she wants to eat everything you eat and everything she sees. She is wonderful at signing for milk and more. Her favorite sign is standing in front of her high chair (or you-if you're eating) and screaming for food.

Last day of "School"

Last week was our last week of school. Not sure how I am going to get anything done this summer, but on the bright side, in September BOTH kids go to "school" 3 days a week.

FUMC "bunny room" was my favorite, "I go to the bunny room on Thursday mom."
On Monday and Wednesday I had Ms. Alexia and Ms. Jennifer at "the big school". They taught me a lot this year. Katelyn will get to learn from them next year.

Hair Cut!

Hey Will, we are going to get a hair cut!
You can have a sucker and if you don't cry (aka scream) during your hair cut then we can go get a milkshake. (yes I realize we use bribes a lot)

Post hair cut sucker....he didn't scream (well just a bit) so of course he also asked for his milkshaker!

Potty Trained!

Will totally surprised me this spring. He wanted go potty! Yippee! We had a potty and a potty seat at the house, but he didn't show a lot of interest in them....then one day, he told me he had to poopie. I was out at a consignment sale the next day and bought a frog potty for the downstairs bathroom...it was a great hit, he loved it and then next thing I new we were potty training. We used stickers, special treats (aka cookies) and trains as bribes, oh I mean rewards. It worked wonderfully, just when I was trying to figure out how to stop the bribes, he stopped asking for stickers, if only he listened and followed directions as well as he potty trained!

Easter

The Easter Egg Hunt was pretty cold this year. The kids still had a blast.

Will, Daddy and Grandma died eggs together this year.
Mommy thought they did a great job without her!

Will LOVES candy.....especially chocolate!
(I have no idea where he gets that from.)

Spring

This spring was very wet, which means we need to mow the lawn!

When it was nice, Will wanted to play outside, which meant time to start building Dad.

He can practice driving the boat.....on dry land!

I don't have a picture of Katelyn playing or swinging. Don't worry though, she has already figured out she likes to swing and she knows how to climb the ladder to get to the club house. She hasn't braved sliding down by herself yet. She will go if you hold her hand :)
