Halloween

I really love our neighborhood Halloween parade. This year Will only rode in the wagon to the start of the parade. Then he got out and went driveway to driveway getting "CANDY". His phrase of the night was, "next house." He had a wonderful time and discovered he loves chocolate. He shows no interest in any other kind of candy. Katelyn seemed to enjoy the ride and didn't protest too much about being a fat pumpkin.

With Daddy waiting for the parade to start.
The start of the trick-or-treating along the parade route.
He wouldn't give up his pumpkin once candy started going in it.
He would let Uncle Glenn pull his pumpkin in the wagon while he helped.Checking out the goods!
Katelyn along for the ride.
She thinks chewing on her fingers is a just fine treat!
Princess Olivia along for a ride.

Week of Will

I am reminded daily that time flies.....Katelyn is army crawling and in a matter of days is going to be into everything. Will comes home from school a bigger, smarter boy. Here are some fun moments captured in pictures of Will last week.

He is starting to show more interest in interacting with Katelyn.
Molars anyone?
This is how he was watching Mickey Mouse one morning.
Saturday morning he didn't want his breakfast.
Instead, he sat in Daddy's seat and ate all his cereal.
Sunday morning he makes pancakes with Daddy.
Sunday night he tells Daddy is going to sleep on the couch tonight!

Its been a while!

It's been awhile, so here are some photos to catch you up!
Katelyn and Will enjoying the nice weather this weekend.
No, we didn't get a third dog. This is Sheba, she lives in the house behind us. Will opened the back door, walked over and started petting her this weekend. I guess he thought she needed it :)

Will and Katelyn "helping" with jobs around the house.
Here is info from Will's 6 mo. check up:
I measured in at 19 lbs 11 ounces and 29 inches.

Katelyn went to the doctor Friday (almost 7 mo.) to recheck her ear infection and make sure it was healed.
It was, she weighed in at 16 lbs 11 ounces.

I had forgotten just how big Will was.
I looked back at old blogs and got teary eyed watching videos of his first crawl. He is such a big boy now and getting bigger every day.

Family Fun

Will started soccer on Saturday. I use soccer loosely. Its a lot of activities to teach lots of things, it just happens to be on an indoor soccer field and they have a bunch of balls and goals set out. Mommy or daddy have to "help him" follow instructions and join the group. If it was up to him he would just run around kicking or throwing all the balls into the nets.

Will got to spend an hour in his own little heaven.
We went to a birthday party and it had a large ball pit to jump into.
He spent most of our hour and a half in it.
This is Katelyn with mommy's first little girl craft on her head!

Throwing the noodles on the covered pool at Yei-Yei's.
I don't think he was done swimming!

Our First Night at an Indians Game

We did it...We braved the heat, we packed up snacks and drinks, the whole family and went to the Indianapolis Indians game. I have to admit, I didn't go to enough of these when I was in college and lived downtown, but when I did we always had a good time. This night was no exception. We made it through the whole game, tried to stay for the fireworks, but Will was actually asking to go home and go to bed, so once again this summer, no fireworks for mommy.
We sat in the lawn in center field and took turns making sure Will didn't throw anything over the fence. Clearly the builders do not know my 2 year old.
Here is Will getting hit on by some "strange girl."
Here he is sliding away from said girl!
Daddy put on the 3-D glasses they gave us for viewing the fireworks, while Will put on Daddy's hat.
Mommy and her babies!
They were the hit of the game, everyone around us was so impressed on how well they both did all night. I think we will get to enjoy more of the game when we go next year, but at least the Indians won and hit enough long balls to center field to keep Will paying attention....on occasion!
